Now I’ve played golf with the club for a lot of years and never have in all those years have I ever witnessed an awesome display of golf. George R. was bombing it all day long and on Saturday it was generally close the fairway…in most cases it was close to the green…on number 4 he was about 5 feet off the green, on the following hole he was about 20 feet off the green….I saw him used three clubs…driver, 65 degree wedge, and Kevin Burns putter. After starting with a In n Out start (double double) he pulled it together and shot a gross 78 to finish with a net 70 which was good enough for this month’s ace. But not to be out done was his cousin Kyle, George hits it pretty far but Kyle isn’t that much behind him…not bad considering George outweighs Kyle by about 100 pounds. I wish Kyle was around when King was playing they would have had a great match. Kyle hits the ball a mile and has great touch around the greens. If there was anything even close to being a flaw it was his putting on the Par 5’s. He hit two of the Par 5’s in two and proceeded to make a George Par on both…two on three putt. George and Kyle both hit the Par 5 14th hole in two and 3 putted. That hole is 577 yards long!! George hit it with a 6 iron…..I think Kyle used a hybrid…..that was sick!! I hope that all of you get an opportunity to play golf with these guys it was very special….but just so the young guns don’t get big heads….Kyle made a comment that he had 12 4’s on his card that day and I thought that was impressive until I counted my card and found out that I had 11 4’s….so take that…let’s hear it for the old dudes!! But he trumped my 6’s with 5’s but heck who’s counting. Old guys still rule!!
