I got the first of many phone calls at 5:30 wondering if we were still playing. After talking to the Manager at the course we cancelled even though he said at the time the course was still open but cart paths only. Since the course was still open Steve Grosky and I went to the course to eat and play since they were still open, after all there are black out dates with any kitchen pass.
It would be shallow and self serving to say that Steve and I are the most dedicated AGC golfers especially when we walked into the Clubhouse and saw Hank Patao eating breakfast. He left at 5:00 AM to make it to the golf course on time therefore I must declare a trifecta for most dedicated.
I’ve anticipated your comments so don’t send me an email of how you would change the word dedicated.
The rainout has been rescheduled for the Feb 27th at 8:00 on the North Course. Please let Kevin know as soon as possible if you are cancelling.
